about

Metasound follows his travel Ambition. Lucius14 yields light and the wide world. Together, the companions experience their first release on BREAK THE SURFACE and deliver a supreme quality “Travelogue”.
Their hand-picked destinies - some distant, others just around the corner - invite to dance and to listen to.

Track 01: Szechuan Express // written and produced by Metasound & Lucius14
First destiny: the exotic Szechuan. Right through Cathay the Szechuan express takes its way. Passing rice fields and distant yangtse the rhythm of the locomotive defines the passenger’s heartbeat.
Metasound and Lucius14 created a remarkable trip to Asian sound sphere and a perfect start of the journey. The well chosen pipa-sample ensures the authentic far-east-sentiment.

Track 02: Venda People // written and produced by Metasound & Lucius14
Different countries – different sounds, next stop: South Africa. The chanting Venda People welcome their guests with friendly house grooves. A marvellous piece of ethno-electro: electrifying. African percussions and chorals authentically recorded capture a wide range of South African spirit.

Track 03: Calabrazu // written and produced by Metasound & Lucius14
A musical melting pot awaits you next Stopp. Calabrazu is varied and full of movement. Islands of sound and vocal sequences invite to linger. Piano and drums enchant with decent jazz-shouts. It is worth to take a second look at any point. Listen twice and let yourself drift!

04: Nonnenwiese // written and produced by Metasound & Lucius14
It’s Sunday and people are out. They love to live so pleasantly and chill out really honestly. Lazin' on a deep house afternoon.
The travelogue ends just in front of the housedoor. ‘Nonnenwiese’ aligns everyone to a smooth relaxed Sunday mood.
